Job Purpose

Job Context & Major Challenges

1. Risk assessment and implementation of control to achieve zero accident in work place.
2. Ensure safety training to the persons before deployment.
3. Regular Fire and safety training to the contract workmen of operation and maintenance department. Regular monitoring / inspection and caring internal safety audit of working area to detect abnormalities and technical suggestion for improvement of working area and machineries to implement standard safety procedure.
4. Implement, development and maintain fire fighting system.
5. Implementation and maintenance of documents for ISO 45001.
6. Risk Assessment and implementation of safety measures in new projects (constructions) to complete the project with zero accident.
7. Achieve Zero Accident goal by bringing Behavioral & Cultural changes in the unit .

8. Maintain the statutory records.

9. Accident analysis for corrective & preventive measures and its effective implementation, in the area / shift/age group found in analysis.
