KRA:

Implement SHE policy and safe work practices across PF project activities to achieve Zero Accident targets.

Supporting Actions:

• Plan, organize and coordinate with FHs, LHs, HODs and HOSs for effective safety implementation.
• Monitor safety performance through analysis of accidents, incidents, near misses, mandays lost and property loss.
• Periodically review safety data and prepare action plans for prevention.
• Ensure implementation of safe work practices at project sites.
  
  

2. Safety Promotion & Awareness

KRA:

Promote proactive safety culture among employees and contractual workforce.

Supporting Actions:

• Implement nearmiss reporting and cash reward schemes.
• Promote suggestion schemes, awards and recognition for safe behavior.
• Ensure effective use of safety display boards, posters and slogans.
• Conduct safety toolbox talks involving employees and contractors.
• Organize safety awareness campaigns, mock drills and Safety Shibir.
• Plan and celebrate National Safety Day (4th March), safety quiz and demonstrations.
• Prepare and monitor safety promotion budget.
  
  

3. Development of Safety Procedures

KRA:

Develop and improve safe operating procedures through systematic risk management.

Supporting Actions:

• Investigate and analyze accidents to identify root causes.
• List project activities in coordination with departments and identify hazards and risks.
• Recommend control measures and corrective actions.
• Conduct audits of safety practices and recommend improvements.
• Identify unsafe conditions, types of injuries and causation models.
  
  

4. Statutory Compliance

KRA:

Ensure full compliance with statutory safety requirements.

Supporting Actions:

• Organize Safety Committee meetings as per statutory requirements.
• Arrange inspection, testing and certification of lifts, hoists, cranes, lifting tools, pressure vessels, etc.
• Ensure structural stability certification by governmentapproved competent persons.
• Prepare and submit accident reports to concerned authorities.
• Conduct emergency mock drills to check preparedness.
  
  

5. OHSAS / ISO 45001 Implementation

KRA:

Develop, review and improve OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 systems at PF project sites.

Supporting Actions:

• Carry out processwise hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Prepare and implement action plans to eliminate or control hazards.
• Coordinate with departments for effective system implementation.
• Conduct regular audits, reviews and drive continual improvement.
