PF Mechanical - Projects

Purpose of the Role

To plan, execute, monitor, and successfully complete mechanical projects related to PF (Project Facilities/Plant Facilities) while ensuring safety, quality, cost optimization, and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Prepare project scope, schedules, resource requirements, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.

Mechanical Engineering Activities

• Supervise installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct technical evaluation of mechanical systems and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during project execution.

Contractor & Vendor Management

• Monitor contractor performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Verify measurements, bills, and work completion certificates.
• Coordinate procurement of project materials and equipment.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and permit systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks before project activities.
• Ensure adherence to IMS, ISO, and applicable statutory requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project records, progress reports, drawings, and technical documents.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
• Track project costs and provide MIS reports to management.
