Launched in 2016 out of a love, respect and admiration towards cats and dogs, Barkalounge is now expanding its services from earlier being a home-based business, to building a community of pet lovers in Kochi (Ernakulam). We aren't building a niche service - we are just positioning it different.

Our focus is on providing highly personal, accessible care to pets - we are currently hiring pet sitters as part of this initiative

Role Description

The Pet Sitter will provide care and companionship to pets by feeding, walking, and ensuring the overall well-being of the pet dog or cat. Responsibilities include monitoring pet health, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing updates to pet owners as needed. Additional duties may include house sitting and performing tasks related to general pet care while the owners are away.

A perfect opportunity for someone who wants to earn a few extra bucks while studying / working from home.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or skills in Animal Care, Pet Care, and Pet Sitting
• Strong Communication skills to provide regular updates to pet owners
• Experience with House Sitting and the ability to perform related responsibilities
• Dependability, trustworthiness, and a passion for animal welfare
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various pets with different needs
