Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pet Groomer role located in South Mumbai. The Pet Groomer is responsible for bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences, while maintaining a calm and safe environment. Daily tasks include performing nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic hygiene services, checking for visible skin or coat issues, and communicating grooming recommendations to caregivers. The role involves maintaining grooming tools and workspaces, following sanitation protocols, and supporting appointment scheduling and check-in/check-out processes. The Pet Groomer collaborates with the team to ensure each pet receives attentive care and a positive overall experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets, with attention to breed-specific grooming requirements.
• Ability to safely perform nail clipping, ear cleaning, and other basic hygiene services while handling animals gently and confidently.
• Knowledge of pet behavior, stress signals, and safe restraint techniques to ensure a calm and secure grooming environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to discuss grooming options, manage expectations, and provide clear aftercare guidance.
• Commitment to cleanliness and infection-control practices, including tool disinfection and maintaining a hygienic grooming area.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move pets of varying sizes, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Prior experience as a pet groomer, grooming assistant, or in a related animal care role preferred; formal grooming certification is an advantage.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work a consistent schedule, including weekends or peak hours as required.
