We think tying a coach's pay to selling memberships is broken: it puts the coach's wallet in conflict with the client's interest. So we removed it. You're paid well to do one thing: get your clients results.
We're hiring a Personal Training Coach for the morning shift at our Indiranagar studio.
A bit about us:
Belong was founded by people from Apple, Uber, and CRED who wanted to build an outcome-based coaching system that helps everyday people lead healthier lives. We believe good health is a fundamental right.
We started Belong after watching too many people spend hours in the gym and make no real progress, not because they don't try, but because most fitness systems are built to work only for the already highly motivated and quietly fail everyone else. A good system should carry the person, not just reward the most disciplined people in the room.
Measurement is the heart of how we coach. We design each client's assessment protocol around their goals, with a functional movement screen at the core, then build the training plan from what the data tells us.
The role:
▸ On-floor, 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 coaching
▸ Morning shift, Monday to Saturday, 6 AM to 2 PM
▸ Indiranagar, Bangalore
Who we're looking for:
This is a great fit for someone early in their career, including fresh graduates. You don't need years of experience. You need the right instincts: you listen more than you talk, you explain movements clearly, you're honest with clients, and you're dependable enough that people can count on you before sunrise.
A recognised PT certification (ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, K11, INFS, or GGFI) or a degree in exercise science, physiotherapy, or physical education is preferred.
One more thing: the best coaches practise what they preach. We want someone who chases their own fitness goals, competitively, even if not professionally. When you apply, send us proof of it: your Strava, Instagram, a race bib, a training log. Anything that shows you know what it feels like to commit to something hard and stay the course.
