NDTV Profit is looking for a creative, curious journalist to make personal finance more interesting, accessible and useful for a digital-first audience.

What you'll do

* Cover savings, investments, taxes, insurance, loans, credit cards and everyday money decisions.

* Pitch fresh, original stories on how Indians earn, spend, save and invest.

* Turn complex financial concepts into sharp explainers, engaging stories and useful guides.

* Experiment with innovative formats, including data-led stories, visual explainers, quizzes and social-first content.

* Use SEO, audience insights and emerging AI tools to discover and tell better stories.

* Build a strong network of experts and credible sources.

Who you are

* A journalist with 2–6 years of experience, preferably in personal finance.

* A strong writer with a nose for original angles and compelling headlines.

* Curious about money, consumer behaviour and the financial decisions people make.

* Comfortable with digital publishing, SEO and social media.

* Proactive, creative and keen to experiment with new storytelling formats.
