Perl Developer

Job Summary

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java, Perl, and XSL technologies.

2. Utilize AccuRev for version control, software configuration management, and collaboration.

3. Create and maintain XSL stylesheets for transforming XML data.

4. Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement software features.

5. Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

6. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts.

7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. 7-10 years of proven work experience as a Java/Perl Developer with expertise in XSL.

3. Strong proficiency in Java, Perl, XSL, and AccuRev.

4. Experience with AccuRev for version control and software configuration management.

5. Knowledge of XSL transformations and XML technologies.

6. Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in Java, Perl, or XSL technologies.

2. Certification in DevOps will be an added advantage.

2. Experience with other version control systems like Git or Subversion.

3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

4. Experience with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
