Job Description

General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will contribute to the planning, design, optimization, verification, and testing of electronic systems spanning Digital, Analog, RF, Optical, FPGA, DSP, and mechanical domains. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet performance and quality goals on cutting-edge products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute unit and subsystem level verification with strong emphasis on coverage-driven constrained random verification methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain testbenches including stimulus generators, agents, monitors, and checkers using SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Collaborate on test planning to ensure comprehensive verification coverage and quality.
  • Integrate C-based reference models within verification environments.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as Perl and Python to automate verification tasks and support test infrastructure.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience, OR
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, OR
  • PhD with 2+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering.
  • 8+ years of unit and subsystem verification experience.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and testbench development.
  • Experience with coverage-driven constrained random verification.
  • Familiarity with C-based reference models integrated within verification environments.
  • Scripting experience in Perl and Python.
