About the Role
We are looking for a Performance Video Editor who can create high-converting video creatives for Meta, Google, YouTube, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate understands D2C consumer behavior, direct-response marketing, and can transform raw footage into engaging ad creatives that drive clicks, conversions, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit performance-driven video ads for Meta, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Create multiple creative variations for A/B testing.
- Develop compelling hooks, storytelling structures, and CTAs that improve campaign performance.
- Repurpose existing content into high-performing ad creatives.
- Work closely with the Growth, Performance Marketing, and Creative teams to execute campaigns.
- Analyze creative performance and incorporate learnings into future edits.
- Stay updated on D2C creative trends, competitor ads, and platform best practices.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and turnaround timelines.
- Optimize videos for different formats including Reels, Stories, Shorts, and Feed placements.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a D2C brand, agency, or performance marketing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Understanding of direct-response marketing and performance creative principles.
- Experience creating Meta and Google ad creatives.
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, motion graphics, and visual communication.
- Ability to interpret campaign performance data and apply insights to creative production.
- Portfolio showcasing performance marketing creatives and ad campaigns.
Preferred
- Experience working with D2C or consumer brands.
- Familiarity with UGC-style content and creator-led ads.
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills.
- Understanding of creative testing frameworks and performance metrics.
