We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing and analysis, with the ability to design and implement effective testing strategies to ensure optimal application performance.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing performance testing strategies for applications and systems.
- Analyzing performance test results and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborating with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
- Creating and maintaining performance testing documentation including test plans and test cases.
- Executing performance tests using various tools and frameworks.
- Monitoring system performance metrics and ensuring they meet specified SLAs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages for test automation, such as Python or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools like New Relic or AppDynamics.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
