Performance testing Professional

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Performance Testing: Conduct comprehensive performance testing using LoadRunner, JMeter, and other relevant tools, ensuring the scalability and reliability of core and third-party systems.
• System Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement monitoring and incident response strategies using tools such as APPD, Grafana, and Splunk to ensure real-time visibility of system performance and availability.
• Operational Excellence: Continuously monitor and improve service availability, latency, recovery, and performance. Proactively address service issues to meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Capacity Planning & Risk Assessment: Engage in capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews to ensure that services are properly scaled to meet demand.
• Automation & CI/CD: Collaborate with the team to drive automation efforts and integrate DevOps practices, ensuring continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of high-quality services.
• Metrics & Reporting: Implement and measure key performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations for improvements in service efficiency and availability.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) during incidents, providing insights to prevent future degradations and facilitating effective post-mortems.
• Cloud & Architecture Support: Work with cloud-native services (AWS Cloud) and related technologies to ensure highly available and scalable system architectures.

Requirements:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development, performance testing, and engineering, with hands-on expertise in LoadRunner, JMeter, and performance engineering activities.
• Performance Tools: Extensive experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, Splunk, and familiarity with cloud monitoring techniques.
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in working with AWS Cloud, Oracle Databases, and Cloud Native Services.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, continuous integration, and delivery pipelines.
• Methodology: Proven experience in Agile development practices and collaborative team environments.
• Incident Management: Expertise in incident response, change management, and capacity planning.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Gatling, K6, and Harness for performance testing and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and WebLogic.
• Knowledge of Cloud-native services and their impact on performance testing.
