Job Description

  • Education: Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands on experience in performance testing and performance engineering for web or enterprise applications.
  • Strong expertise in LoadRunner for scripting, scenario design, execution, and analysis.
  • Proven experience in end to end Performance Testing (load, stress, endurance, spike) including test planning and execution.
  • Solid background in Performance Engineering, including bottleneck identification, tuning recommendations, and capacity considerations.
  • Practical experience using Dynatrace (or similar APM tools) for monitoring, tracing, and root cause analysis during performance tests.
  • Hands on experience with Cloud Performance Testing for applications hosted on public or private cloud environments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross functional and client teams.
  • Design, plan, and execute end to end performance test strategies (load, stress, endurance, scalability) for complex enterprise and cloud based applications.
  • Develop, parameterize, and maintain robust LoadRunner scripts, scenarios, and workloads aligned with business usage patterns, including advanced correlation, parameterization, think time modeling, error handling, custom logic, and data driven frameworks.
  • Perform in depth performance analysis using Dynatrace and other monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, platform, infrastructure, and operations teams to define performance scope, SLAs/SLOs, KPIs, and success criteria, interpret performance results, diagnose root causes, and recommend tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Lead performance engineering activities, including capacity planning, sizing, and performance modeling for on premise and cloud environments, with a strong focus on microservices, REST APIs, async workflows, and batch processing.
  • Conduct cloud performance testing across major platforms (e.g., autoscaling, elasticity, resilience), validating SLAs and non functional requirements, and evaluating limits/requests, node saturation, and cluster level constraints.
  • Prepare clear, data driven performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for technical and business stakeholders, communicating complex technical findings in a concise and business relevant manner.
  • Guide project teams on performance best practices throughout the SDLC and support shift left performance testing approaches, including early requirements clarification and performance risk identification.
  • Mentor junior team members in performance testing techniques, tools usage, and analysis methods, fostering a self driven, ownership mindset within the team.
  • Independently identify performance work items, define approaches, and execute performance engagements end to end, including test plan creation, scenario design, data modeling, and dashboard setup.
  • Drive performance analysis and bottleneck identification across the full stack (application, JVM/GC, database, infrastructure, and container platforms) without waiting for direction, providing concrete tuning recommendations.
