About the job:
We are seeking a Performance Testing and Monitoring Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in LoadRunner, JMeter, Datadog, and Dynatrace. The role requires a solid understanding of performance engineering, monitoring, and analysis across enterprise and cloud-based applications, including Guidewire platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Handle dynamic correlations, parameterization, and scripting techniques effectively in LoadRunner.
- (Preferred) Experience with TruClient scripting in LoadRunner.
- Plan and conduct performance, load, stress, and endurance testing for web, API, and enterprise applications.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization measures.
- Use Datadog and Dynatrace for real-time monitoring, alerting, and performance diagnostics.
- Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and end-user experience using APM tools.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.
- Define, track, and report performance KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs.
- Support incident management with performance insights during production issues.
- Create and maintain performance test plans, reports, and monitoring dashboards.
- Support performance assessment and analysis for Guidewire-based applications and integrations.
Must Have:
- Proficient knowledge of LoadRunner and JMeter scripting, including handling techniques and dynamic correlations.
- TruClient scripting skills in LoadRunner would be a plus.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with monitoring tools – Datadog and Dynatrace.
- Basic understanding of Performance Testing processes and strategies.
