We are looking for a Performance Tester Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing, leading a team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the performance testing team to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Design and develop performance test plans and scripts based on system requirements.
- Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks in application performance.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize performance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide recommendations for performance improvements and capacity planning.
- Mentor and guide junior performance testers in best practices and methodologies.
- Maintain performance testing environments and tools.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-15 years of experience in performance testing and load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
- Knowledge of web services and protocols (REST, SOAP, HTTP, etc.).
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics and logs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
