About the Role:India's leading Educational ERP Software company, a Deloitte Fast 50 Company, andET Growth Champion, Serosoft is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer withdeep expertise in Performance testing. The ideal candidate will have over 5+years of experience in software testing with a minimum of 3+ years in performance testing using tools like JMeter/LoadRunner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and execution of performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter and Load Runner
- Owntest data preparation, environment setup, and test execution activities.
- Performing the load testing of the web as well as api load/performance testing.
- Work with product and testing teams to identify and understand key load and performance testing scenarios
- Collect, analyze, and report performance test results and metrics, and share with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and document performance issues.
- Write and execute SQL queries for medium to complex database validations.
- Mentor junior team members to start contributing to performance test activities.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing.
- 3+ years of experience in Performance Testing (JMeter/LoadRunner).
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Skills & Competencies:
- Experience withRESTful APIs, JSON.
- Familiarity with Git/Version control, Agile methodology, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
