Performance Test/engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing, able to analyze and optimize application performance to ensure the highest quality user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance testing strategies and plans for various applications.
• Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations in software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance testing is integrated into the overall software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts and scenarios using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Monitor application performance in production and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7-9 years of experience in performance testing or related field.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy for test automation.
• Solid knowledge of web and application server performance metrics and monitoring tools.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate clear, concise reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
