Responsibilities
- Understand and clarify performance testing requirements.
- Develop and parameterize performance test scripts using JMeter performance test tool
- Configure test scenarios, virtual user loads, and run conditions.
- Prepare and manage performance test data.
- Execute different types of performance tests (load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability).
- Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, network, DB, application logs) during test execution.
- Capture and analyse performance metrics and system resource utilization.
- Log performance defects and work with developers to troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- Maintain and update performance scripts for regression cycles.
- Document observations and provide inputs to the lead for reporting.
- Collaborate with DevOps/infra teams for environment and tool setup.
- Stay updated with new performance testing tools and techniques.
