We're currently inviting applications for the role of Performance Test Architect for an exciting Infosys project based in Trivandrum/Bangalore/Chennai with hybrid work option
Responsibilities
- Architect, Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment and conduct analysis of results.
- Define, develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
- Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.
- Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes.
- Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and own quality perspectives for the design especially from performance perspective.
Requirements
- 10+ years in the QA domain out of which at least 4+years work experience on Performance testing projects for reputed clients
- Extensive experience with at least two performance testing tools, preferably LoadRunner and/or JMeter.
- Proven experience in designing automated performance test scripts following best industry practices.
- In-depth experience using various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Solid understanding of web services, including both SOAP and REST with foundation in core Java principles.
- Proficiency in Unix, databases, and CI/CD practice is desired.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization, along with comprehensive performance and root cause analysis
- Extensive experience in performance testing of SAP applications, with additional experience in cloud-based platforms like AWS and GCP being a plus.
- Expertise in performance assessment and optimization of complex applications built on the SAP BTP platform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python is desirable.
- Solid understanding of performance-tuning SQL queries and JVM tuning techniques is expected.
