About MTechZilla

MTechZilla is a web, mobile app, ai app and cloud app development agency based in India, serving as an offshore engineering partner for US and EU companies. We work with US and EU engineering teams through three flexible engagement models - staff augmentation, team augmentation and software development outsourcing. Our clients are CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Directors of Engineering at 50 to 500 employee tech companies. We are growing fast and need a performance marketer who understands B2B lead generation, long sales cycles and how to reach senior engineering decision makers.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on B2B Performance Marketing Specialist who will own our paid acquisition strategy end-to-end. This is not a brand awareness role. This is a lead generation role. Your job is to bring qualified discovery calls and form fills from CTOs and engineering leaders at US tech companies who need to hire or scale their engineering teams.

You will work directly with our founder and be the single owner of our paid marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Campaign Management

  • Own and optimize Google Search Ads campaigns targeting hire intent keywords across US markets.

  • Plan and execute LinkedIn Ads campaigns targeting CTOs, VPs Engineering and Directors of Engineering at 50 to 500 employee tech companies.

  • Manage remarketing campaigns across Google Display and LinkedIn to re-engage LP visitors who did not convert

  • Expand to Microsoft Ads in month 3 or 4 if strategy and budget allow based on Google Ads performance data.

Performance Optimisation

  • Monitor and improve CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rate and cost per qualified lead daily

  • Continuously optimise campaigns based on search terms data, auction insights and conversion data

  • Run A/B tests on ad copy, landing page headlines and CTAs

  • Identify and add negative keywords weekly based on search terms report

Landing Page and Conversion Rate Optimisation

  • Work with the content and design team to improve landing page conversion rates

  • Identify drop-off points using GA4 and heat-map tools like Posthog, Hot jar or Microsoft Clarity

  • Suggest and test landing page changes based on real user behavior data

Tracking and Analytics

  • Own conversion tracking setup and maintenance via Google Tag Manager and GA4

  • Build weekly performance dashboards showing CPL, ROAS, impression share and conversion trends

  • Ensure accurate attribution from first click to form submission to discovery call

Budget Management

  • Manage and allocate monthly ad budget across campaigns efficiently

  • Make data driven decisions on when to scale budget and when to pull back

  • Forecast monthly lead volume based on budget and historical CPC data

Collaboration

  • Work closely with founder on campaign strategy and lead quality feedback

  • Align ad messaging with sales team to ensure leads match ideal client profile

  • Brief content team on landing page copy improvements and new page requirements

Requirements

Must Have:

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on B2B paid marketing experience in IT services, software development, staff augmentation or offshore development companies. Experience outside these industries will not be considered.

  • Proven Google Search Ads experience with high CPC low volume B2B keywords

  • LinkedIn Ads experience targeting by job title and company size

  • Strong understanding of B2B buying cycles - knows leads take weeks not hours to convert

  • Experience with conversion tracking setup via GTM and GA4

  • Analytical - comfortable in Google Ads interface, GA4 and Excel/Sheets daily

  • Understands Quality Score, impression share, auction insights and search terms analysis

Strong Plus:

  • Previous experience running paid ad campaigns from India targeting US clients - specifically for an Indian IT services, software development or staffing company.

  • Experience with staff augmentation or IT staffing business model

  • Knowledge of CRO principles and landing page best practices

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or any CRM for lead tracking
