Role Overview

As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will own end-to-end growth and revenue performance across marketplace channels.

Your mission is to drive scalable revenue growth and efficiency by optimizing paid campaigns, improving discoverability, and maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS). This is a highly execution-driven role with strong ownership of key business metrics such as GMV, CAC, ROAS, and conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Marketing & Paid Growth

  • Own and scale paid campaigns across marketplace platforms (Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, etc.)
  • Manage budgets, bidding strategies, and channel-level performance
  • Drive improvements in CAC, ROAS, and revenue contribution

Marketplace Performance & Visibility

  • Drive visibility and discoverability across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and BigBasket
  • Own search rankings, paid placements, and merchandising levers
  • Optimize listings through titles, images, A+ content, and SEO

Funnel Optimization & Conversion

  • Optimize the full funnel: Impression → Click → Product Page → Conversion
  • Improve CTR and CVR through:
  • Creative testing
  • Listing optimization
  • Audience and keyword targeting

Experimentation & Scaling

  • Run structured experiments across creatives, pricing, and visibility levers
  • Identify high-performing campaigns and scale them efficiently
  • Continuously test and unlock new growth opportunities

Analytics & Insights

  • Track and own key metrics: GMV, CAC, ROAS, CTR, CVR, and margins
  • Build dashboards and derive actionable insights
  • Use platform analytics to drive fast, data-backed decisions

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Brand, Creative, Ops, and platform teams
  • Align campaigns with inventory availability to maximize conversions
  • Manage external partners/agencies for ads, content, and SEO

Requirements

Must-have:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in Performance Marketing / Marketplace Growth
  • Proven track record of driving GMV growth with strong ROAS/CAC control
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel and performance tracking

Good-to-have:

  • Experience in marketplace-first or e-commerce businesses
  • Understanding of search ranking, listing optimization, and marketplace SEO
  • Experience managing high SKU volumes and category-level performance
