Title: Performance Marketing Manager (Google Ads)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale our paid acquisition on Google's ecosystem (Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Display, and Demand Gen). You will be directly accountable for spends, lead volume, and efficiency (CPA/CAC and ROAS), working closely with the growth, content, and product teams to drive measurable business impact. This is an execution-heavy role ideal for someone who lives in the Google Ads dashboard, loves experimentation, and is obsessed with squeezing more out of every rupee spent.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management: Plan, build, and manage end-to-end Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Display, and Demand Gen.

Budget & Bidding: Own monthly budgets, bidding strategies, and pacing; optimize towards CPA/CAC, ROAS, and lead-quality targets.

Optimization & Testing: Conduct keyword research, audience and creative testing, and continuous landing-page/CRO experiments to improve conversion rates.

Tracking & Attribution: Set up and maintain accurate conversion tracking using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and offline conversion imports; ensure clean attribution.

Cross-Functional Work: Partner with creative and content teams on ad copy, video, and assets; coordinate with product on funnel and landing-page improvements.

External Relations: Manage external agencies, vendors, and Google account reps to unlock new betas, support, and best practices.

What are we looking for:

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid digital campaigns, with strong, demonstrable ownership of Google Ads at meaningful scale.

Platform Expertise: Deep working knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager; comfort with Performance Max and YouTube campaigns. Google Ads certification is a plus.

Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and comfort with data — confident in Excel/Sheets, able to read funnels, build reports, and act on metrics. Experience with Looker Studio or similar is a plus.

Ownership: Self-motivated and results-driven, able to run experiments and optimize independently in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Clear communicator who can align stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

Bonus: Experience in ed-tech, consumer internet, or a high-growth startup, and exposure to other channels (Meta, programmatic) are added advantages.
