Role Summary

We are looking for a Google Ads person who lives and breathes auction dynamics, quality scores, and incrementally. This is a deeply specialised role you will run  Google Ads ecosystem (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, Demand Gen, and App campaigns etc) and be directly accountable for spend efficiency, pipeline contribution, and revenue growth. This is not a generalist seat we want a true Google Ads craftsperson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, launch, and scale Google Ads campaigns across Search, Pmax, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Display. 
  • Manage monthly Google Ads budgets (scaling from existing spend to defined growth targets) with accountability on CAC, ROAS, and blended efficiency. Choose, test, and optimise bidding strategies manual CPC, tCPA, tROAS, maximise conversions.
  • Lead keyword research, intent mapping, match type strategy, and negative keyword hygiene. Build first party audience strategies using customer match, similar audiences, in market and affinity layers. 
  • Brief and partner with design, copy, and video teams to ship high performing RSAs, display creatives, YouTube cuts, and PMax asset groups. 
  • Own conversion tracking integrity end to end GA4, Google Tag Manager, Enhanced Conversions, server side tagging, offline conversion imports, and consent mode.
  • Deliver weekly performance reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly strategic plans with clear hypotheses, learnings, and next bets.

Who You Are

  • You have 3+ years of hands on Google Ads experience. 
  • You have personally scaled accounts not just maintained them and can walk us through a campaign you built from zero to material revenue. 
  • You are fluent in search and Pmax, and have a clear point of view on when each works and when it does not. 
  • You understand the mechanics of smart bidding deeply enough to diagnose why tROAS is underperforming and fix it. 
  • You are comfortable in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, and you know what enhanced conversions actually do under the hood. 
  • You can read a search terms report and an auction insights report and immediately know what to do next. 
  • You hold a Google Ads certification (current).
