Our client is a seed-funded fintech company building a subscription-based wealth app

for India. The company is rethinking how Indians grow their money - focusing on outcomes

over noise. It operates as a small, founder-led team with a fast-paced, execution-driven

approach.

The Role

Performance Marketing Lead

You'll own performance marketing end-to-end and build the function from here. This includes

strategy, spend, channels, creative direction, attribution, and team building.

You'll report directly to the founder and have a real seat at the table on growth decisions -

not just executing campaigns, but helping shape them.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll still be inside Ads Manager when required, while

also defining what good looks like, hiring the team to achieve it, and pushing back on

decisions when needed.

What You'll Own

  • The full paid acquisition engine across Meta, Google, YouTube, ASO, and emerging channels- wherever paying subscribers come from
  • CAC, payback period, and LTV/CAC as key metrics - not vanity installs
  • Creative strategy and the briefing loop with design, content, and UGC partners
  • The measurement stack - MMP (AppsFlyer), product analytics (Mixpanel), and attribution accuracy
  • Hiring and scaling the performance marketing team as spend grows
  • Monthly budget planning, forecasting, and reporting to the founder and board

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in performance marketing, with meaningful experience in a B2C app-based wealth/fintech business in India (non-negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of RBI/SEBI guardrails, app-install economics, and converting users into paying subscribers
  • Proven track record of scaling paid spend efficiently against subscription or paying-user metrics - not just installs or signups
  • Comfort across the full funnel: acquisition activation first paid conversion renewal
  • Strong creative judgment - ability to identify high-performing hooks and guide briefs
  • Analytical capability: cohort thinking, incrementality, attribution, SQL or advanced spreadsheets
  • Experience managing and growing teams
