Job Description

Position: Performance Marketing Intern

Department: Marketing

Location: Remote

Duration: 36 Months Internship (with potential full-time offer)

Stipend: Based on experience & interview

Role Overview

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Intern with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in digital advertising. The role is remote and will involve supporting full-funnel campaign execution, performance tracking, and optimisation across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and YouTube. This internship is designed for someone who has basic experience but wants structured learning, advanced exposure, and the opportunity to work on real client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Setup & Support

  • Assist in setting up campaigns on Google, Meta, and YouTube.
  • Build keyword lists, ad groups, audience segments, and basic ad copies.
  • Coordinate with designers for banners, videos, and creative assets.
  • Support landing page recommendations and testing notes.
2. Daily Monitoring & Optimisation

  • Review daily spends, CPC, CTR, impressions, search terms, and conversions.
  • Flag performance issues proactively.
  • Maintain daily/weekly optimisation sheets for senior managers.
  • Assist with negative keyword cleanups, bid adjustments, and audience refinements.
3. Analytics & Reporting

  • Assist in validating conversion tracking through GA4 and GTM.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Learn to analyse funnel stages and contribute insights for improvement.
  • Track ROAS, CPL, CPA, and other performance indicators.
4. Market Research & Competitor Insight

  • Conduct keyword research and understand competitor bidding patterns.
  • Analyse competitor ads, creatives, landing pages, and messaging styles.
  • Track industry updates and platform changes for team knowledge.
5. Coordination & Documentation

  • Prepare campaign briefs, QA checklists, and optimisation logs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (design, content, tech)
  • Share performance summaries during internal review meetings.
Skills Required

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Google Ads or Meta Ads campaigns.
  • Basic understanding of bidding, targeting, audience types, and campaign structures.
  • Good with Excel/Google Sheets for data handling.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret numbers.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, Keyword Planner, etc.

Qualifications
