About the Role
The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns aimed at driving measurable growth in traffic, leads, and conversions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work cross-functionally to align performance goals with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies to achieve company growth goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Analytics, Creative) to define target audiences, objectives, and messaging.
- Plan and manage budgets across paid search, display, social media, affiliate programs, and other performance marketing channels.
Paid Media Management:
- Oversee day-to-day management of paid campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.).
- Continuously optimize campaigns through A/B testing, bidding strategies, ad copy, targeting, and audience segmentation.
- Monitor and adjust budgets to ensure ROI and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and manage remarketing strategies to drive customer retention and re-engagement.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze campaign performance data and generate actionable insights to improve results.
- Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.) to track conversions, ROI, and other key metrics.
- Provide regular reporting on campaign performance, trends, and insights to senior leadership of ZeOmega and Jiva Ayush.
- Create dashboards and reporting tools to visualize performance and forecast trends.
Optimization & Growth:
- Identify new opportunities for performance growth through market research, competitor analysis, and trends.
- Optimize landing pages, ad copy, creative assets, and offers to improve conversion rates and overall campaign performance.
- Leverage data to drive continuous improvements and increase ROI across all paid channels.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of performance marketers and coordinate with external agencies or consultants as needed.
- Work closely with creative teams to ensure ads and landing pages align with brand guidelines and are optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with product teams to align marketing strategies with product launches or feature updates.
Testing & Experimentation:
- Design and implement A/B tests for ads, landing pages, emails, and other marketing assets.
- Test different targeting strategies, creatives, and offers to identify the most effective approaches.
Budget & P&L Management:
- Manage overall marketing spend and allocate resources effectively to maximize performance.
- Ensure all campaigns remain within budget while achieving target KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field. Advanced certifications (Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, etc.) are a plus.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in performance marketing or digital marketing, preferably in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Required Skills
- Proficient with performance marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
- Strong understanding of SEO/SEM, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and remarketing techniques.
- Familiarity with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, Unbounce, VWO etc.) is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present performance results to stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage relationships with external agencies and vendors.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or lead generation industries.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python) is a plus.
