MTS Performance Engineer, Industries

As a Performance Engineer in the Industries Org, you will be working with a team which is building software for business critical operations of leading industries such as Communications,Finance,Health etc, who ensures customer satisfaction and performance excellence of our software products

You will own the performance of software component and ensure performance is maintained at highest standards with below traits

  • Developing sophisticated tests for complex load simulations and build comprehensive end-to-end automation

  • Utilizing AI-powered analysis (such as LLM-driven JFR pipelines) to significantly reduce performance analysis time.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide product and automation expertise for patches, research projects, and capacity planning.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with the architecture and fundamentals of internet scale SaaS solutions

  • Distinguished track record in performance engineering for technically demanding projects.

  • Experience with performance testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise software at scale.

  • Understanding of throughput, latency, memory/CPU utilization, JVM, and JIT.

  • Strong knowledge of Java and SQL.

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Performance Engineering or Site Reliability (SRE).

  • The Toolbox: Expert-level mastery of JMeter/K6 and profiling tools (e.g., YourKit, JProfiler, or Datadog).

  • Architectural Fluency: You understand the nuances of load balancers, caching layers, and microservices.

  • Data Driven: You don't guess you use SQL and profiling data to prove where the lag exists.

  • AI Native: You have a strong conceptual understanding of how LLM models function and familiarity with tools such as Claude/Cursor
