- Execution & Simulation: Execute load, stress, spike, and endurance (soak) tests using LoadRunner Controller or Cloud platforms.
- Diagnosis & Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Analyze graphs, run-time data, and APM metrics to pinpoint memory leaks, thread contention, network latency, or database locks.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Present performance test results, track defects in ALM/Jira/Azure DevOps, and work closely with developers to tune code and infrastructure. [1, 2, 3, 4]
4. Typical Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (typically 15 years of full-time education). [1]
- Experience: 3 to 6+ years of dedicated experience in performance testing and engineering (often categorized as Senior Analyst or Engineer level). [1]
