Role Brief

The core objective of this role is to transform quantitative performance data and algorithmic delivery mechanics into highly optimized, direct-response video scripts, hooks, and web copy to systematically lower the cost per verified user. The role completely owns the strategic, linguistic, and conceptual layer of growth marketing, directing the internal production team to execute assets based on tight, objective-led parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scriptwriting & Linguistic Target Engineering

  • Direct-Response Copywriting: Writing conversion-focused ad scripts structured around proven direct-response frameworks (e.g., AIDA, PAS).
  • Semantic Architecture: Developing and executing a strict Vocabulary Framework that utilizes specific cultural and identity signals to trigger Meta's natural language processing and automated speech recognition systems. T
  • Hook Engineering: Scripting and structuring a minimum of 3 distinct hook variations (the opening 1.5 to 3 seconds of video) for every core concept to optimize initial algorithmic distribution.
  • Post-Click Copy Alignment: Writing and optimizing landing page and website copy to ensure end-to-end semantic coherence, matching the tonal register of the live ads to protect full-funnel conversion rates.

2. Quantitative Auditing & Portfolio Management

  • Funnel and Creative Performance Analysis: Monitoring daily creative-level metrics within ad platforms, tracing headline metrics (CPL, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR) down to product-level conversion data (Quality Lead Rate, Cost per Verified Member).
  • Structured Testing Operations: Designing and running systematic creative testing matrices (e.g., 3 hooks $times$ 3 angles $times$ 2 lengths) that isolate single variables to yield clean, statistically significant performance signals.
  • Portfolio Consolidation: Enforcing a hard cap of 6–8 live core concepts at any given time to eliminate learning-phase budget fragmentation.
  • Algorithmic Lifecycle Control: Reviewing creative fatigue metrics and instantly retiring underperforming assets that fail to hit the mandatory operational threshold of 30 leads within 21 days.

3. Production Pipeline Direction & Research

  • Meticulous Creative Briefing: Translating data insights into highly detailed production briefs and visual storyboards for internal video editors and designers. Briefs must specify precise text overlays, visual pacing every 2–3 seconds, and distinct B-roll requirements.
  • Forensic Competitor Auditing: Maintaining a continuous analysis of competitor ad libraries, breaking down global swipe files to reverse-engineer successful narrative structures and visual frameworks.
  • Knowledge Base Documentation: Rigorously documenting all testing roadmaps, angle hypotheses, performance data data-points, and definitive creative wins within a centralized repository (e.g., Notion) to build an institutional playbook.

Key Skills:

  • Core performance creative craft — direct-response scriptwriting and hook engineering, hands-on Meta Ads Manager fluency, structured creative testing, and production briefing to a level where editors can execute without a follow-up call
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a track record of driving growth and marketing initiatives and achieving measurable results.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's from a Tier 1 institute (preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in related fields
  • Hands-on proficiency across the core craft stack — writing direct-response video scripts and hooks, operating inside Meta Ads Manager at creative level, and briefing production teams with detailed visual and copy direction

Location/Work Environment:

The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India.

  • We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon. The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
  • Our team consists of creative and colorful characters, all goal-oriented and hungry for growth (and healthy snacks). The work environment is a mixture of formal and playful, as we all strive to get things done while sipping Italian coffee brewed in-house.
