ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Performance Creative Strategist to own the end-to-end creative output of our ecom wing. You'll sit at the intersection of research and execution — turning consumer insights and concepts into high-converting ad creatives. You'll work closely with CMO and our editors to ensure every piece of content is built with intent, backed by psychology, and optimised for performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Research angles, hooks, and winning concepts across competitors, consumer reviews, and platform trends — before a single frame is shot or edited.Take concept briefs from Head and translate them into detailed, actionable creative briefs for the editing team — including hooks, narrative structure, visual references, and CTA direction.Act as the connective tissue between CMO and all editors — communicating clearly, managing revisions, and driving projects to final output without losing the original intent.Develop UGC concepts — scripting, storyboarding, and briefing creators or editors on authentic, platform-native content formats.Apply consumer behaviour and buying psychology to every creative decision — from hook selection to product framing to offer positioning.Stay current on AI tools for creative production (scripting, voiceover, B-roll generation, editing assist) and actively incorporate them into the workflow to increase output velocity.Own the quality of final creative output — reviewing edits before they go live and flagging anything that deviates from brief or strategic intent.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Solid grounding in consumer behaviour and buying psychology — you understand why people buy, not just what they buy.Proven ability to write persuasive, conversion-oriented copy — hooks, scripts, CTAs, offer framing.Hands-on experience with UGC creative — ideating, scripting, and briefing authentic content that doesn't look like an ad.
Actively uses and experiments with AI tools — ElevenLabs, Runway, Kling, ChatGPT, or similar — and stays updated as the landscape evolves.
Strong brief-writing skills — editors should be able to execute your brief without needing a 30-minute call to understand it.
Familiarity with Meta/Instagram/YouTube ad formats and what makes creatives perform on each platform.
Structured thinker with a creative eye — you can hold strategy and execution in your head at the same time.1–3 years of experience in performance marketing, creative strategy, or content production for ecom or DTC brands preferred.
