Performance/ Competency Manager – ADAS Domain

Description

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Project Manager with 8-12 years of experience in project management and people management, specifically within the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing automotive projects, financial forecasting, and cost control, as well as a solid understanding of Agile methodologies. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage end-to-end recruitment, competency development, stakeholder management, and reporting for automotive projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electronics/Electrical, Caxomputer Science, or a related field.

• 8- 12 years of experience in Automotive Project management, People Management.

• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira

• Familiar with Agile methodologies.

• Proven experience in managing project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Job responsibilities

• Lead and manage automotive projects related to the ADAS domain from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Oversee project management activities, including planning, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

• Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.

• Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements, establish project timelines, and set clear expectations for project deliverables.

• Ensure effective people management, including team performance, motivation, and the development of team members in the ADAS domain.

• Lead the recruitment process for the ADAS domain, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding and competency development.

• Implement and monitor Agile methodologies, driving improvements in the development process and ensuring efficient project execution.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking project progress, risks, and financial performance.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery.

• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and project objectives.
