Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance and Volume Testing Engineer to join
RCRIT. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing
performance, load, stress, and volume tests to ensure the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness
of our applications under varying levels of user and data load.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop performance and volume test strategies, plans, and scripts.
- Execute load, stress, endurance, and volume tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner,
Gatling, or similar.
- Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability issues.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to resolve performance issues.
- Monitor system behavior under load using APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics).
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning efforts.
- Maintain and enhance automated performance testing frameworks and CI/CD integration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in performance and volume testing.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
- Strong understanding of system architecture, databases, and web technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and profiling tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance tests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- ISTQB or similar certification in performance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
