Education-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations of the ReNew Diagnostic Center, with prevention by prediction philosophy
Oversee the performance & operations of assets
Monitoring Key Performance Indicators & Manage risks
Management reporting - internal & external
Digital projects - act as a team member, track implementation and report
Provide routine & non-routine inputs to Wind asset management teams for enhancing performance, productivity & reliability of assets.
Knowledge on Wind Turbines:
Apply knowledge of wind turbines to optimize performance.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Team Player: Capable of working in a team of renewable asset performance monitoring and control professionals
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
SCADA Configuration: Configure and optimize Tier-2 SCADA system for efficient monitoring and control.
Investor Queries: Provide clear and concise information to stakeholders through manager.
Power Curve Analysis: Perform power curve analysis to optimize the energy output of wind turbines.
Identify and implement improvements based on analysis outcomes through site teams.
Critical Parameter Analysis & error Analysis: Analyze critical parameters affecting the performance of wind turbines.
Develop strategies to enhance system efficiency and reliability
Conduct in-depth analysis of repetitive errors in the operation of renewable energy assets.
Major Component Failure Management: Develop and implement effective strategies for managing major component failures.
Minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Daily Curtailment Report: Prepare and distribute daily reports on curtailment activities.
Provide insights into curtailment trends and possible improvements.
Daily Generation Report - Portfolio Level: Generate comprehensive daily reports on energy generation at the portfolio level.
Analyze and present key performance indicators to management.
LPF Report: Analyze Loss of Power Factor (LPF) and prepare detailed reports.
Propose measures to maintain optimal power factor levels.
PLF/LPF Trend Report: Monitor trends in Power Load Factor (PLF) and LPF.
Prepare trend reports to identify patterns and optimize generation.
Prolonged Stoppages/Major Breakdown Report: Investigate and prepare reports on prolonged stoppages and major breakdowns.
Provide recommendations for minimizing future occurrences.
Reliability Profile: Develop and maintain reliability profiles for renewable energy assets.
Ensure high availability and reliability of the entire system.
SCADA Report: Generate SCADA reports, presenting key operational data and system performance indicators.
Contractual Availability: Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual availability requirements.
Report any deviations and propose corrective actions.
Outlier/Red Flag Report: Identify outliers and red flags in operational data.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
Budgeting & Revenue Analysis – Wind Asset Management: Prepare budgets aligned with management KPIs for wind operations.
Analyze revenue drivers and variances to support asset management and business decisions.
Skills:
Knowledge of SCADA configuration and operation.
