Ensure accurate production of all regular and ad-hoc performance analysis, attribution and ex-post risk data for both internal and external recipients, with a focus on GIPS.
Liaise with Barings front office departments to ascertain ongoing requirements and work with the team to implement these goals.
Ensure that ad-hoc tasks and queries are acknowledged in a timely and professional manner, and that regular updates are provided as necessary.
Assist other global team members as necessary and where reasonable to meet requirements and deliverables.
Seek efficiency gains in our operational processes and work with technology support teams to drive automation and scalable workflows.
Assist with required initiatives such as project management, documentation, audit requests, system testing and internal trainings when required.
Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Act as an ambassador for the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Progress toward or completion of CIPM, CFA, or similar professional qualification is advantageous.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of performance, GIPS and attribution methodologies across all asset classes, i.e. Brinson attribution, Fixed Income attribution and multi-asset attribution.
Knowledge of performance platforms such as Aladdin, Factset, Statpro, Bloomberg, Morningstar.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, or other data tools is a plus.
Proven analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather, analyze, organize and report information, results and recommendations.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization.
Ability to manage several projects in different stages of completion concurrently
