Responsibilities

Purpose:

The Assistant Manager of HR Operations will lead the delivery of core HR services, ensuring a seamless end-to-end employee lifecycle. This role requires a seasoned professional to oversee process efficiency, maintain data integrity through advanced MIS, and ensure 100% statutory compliance. You will act as a bridge between HR strategy and operational execution, managing a team to deliver excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including high-volume onboarding, role changes, and complex separation processes.
  • MIS & Dashboard Management: Design and maintain HR dashboards and Management Information Systems (MIS). Provide leadership with actionable insights on headcount, attrition, and operational service metrics.
  • Payroll & Benefits Governance: Facilitate monthly payroll by overseeing data validation, statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT), and insurance administration. Ensure 100% accuracy in payroll inputs and cross-functional alignment with Finance.
  • Compliance & Audit: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external HR audits. Ensure all processes strictly adhere to local labour laws and global data privacy standards.
  • Digital Transformation: Identify opportunities for automation within the HRMS (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, or Darwinbox) to reduce manual workloads and improve Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Partner with senior leadership and external vendors (e.g., BGV agencies, insurance providers) to ensure high service standards and resolve escalated queries.

Experience

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: 610 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, preferably within a GCC, IT, or ITES environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in any stream; MBA or Post-Graduation in HR is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in Advanced Excel (Power Query, Macros, Dashboards) and hands-on experience with leading HRMS platforms.
