About This Internship
This is a multi-functional internship designed for someone eager to learn how HR, operations, and communications intersect in a startup. You'll work closely with the founding team and get hands-on experience in scheduling, HR documentation, policy drafting, content writing, and managing social media presence.
You'll learn how people operations connect directly to business growth in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
- Assist with scheduling calls, interviews, and team meetings.
- Maintain founder/team calendars and send reminders.
HR & Documentation
- Help draft and edit HR policies, onboarding material, and internal guidelines.
- Maintain basic HR records and assist with recruitment tasks (posting jobs, screening applications).
Content & Communication
- Draft career page content, job descriptions, and team culture write-ups for the website.
- Assist in creating basic content for newsletters, hiring announcements, and policy updates.
Social Media Support
- Schedule and post updates on LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and other platforms about hiring, team updates, and culture.
- Help design/write posts highlighting employee stories, culture initiatives, and achievements.
Cross-Functional Exposure
- Support campaign managers, marketing, and product teams when HR/ops documentation overlaps with external communication.
- Learn to adapt messaging to suit internal and external stakeholders.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of your internship, you will:
- Understand how HR, operations, and branding come together in a startup.
- Gain experience in drafting HR policies, scheduling systems, and people operations workflows.
- Learn the basics of employer branding and social media management.
- Build communication and organizational skills with real-world impact.
Requirements
- Strong writing and communication skills (English).
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and social media platforms.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Canva/Figma for basic design support.
- Interest in startups, HR, or digital media is a plus.
