Job Purpose:
Support and optimize HR Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on US benefits administration, leave management, compliance, immigration coordination, and employee support. This role will drive operational excellence through process improvements, documentation, automation initiatives, and exceptional employee experience while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations or People Operations with significant exposure to US benefits administration and compliance
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including benefits processing, qualifying life events (QLEs), leave administration, employee lifecycle transactions, and compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of US leave programs including FMLA, STD, LTD, parental leave, personal leave, and state-specific leave requirements
- Familiarity with US immigration processes including H-1B, L-1B, OPT/CPT, and PERM, along with internal coordination responsibilities supporting immigration counsel
- Knowledge of US employment and benefits compliance regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, EEO-1, OSHA, and Section 125 plans
- Experience documenting workflows, identifying process inefficiencies, and supporting process redesign initiatives
- Excellent employee service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage structured documentation and compliance-related work
- Experience managing HR ticket queues, meeting service level agreements, and balancing transactional and judgment-based work
- Willingness to work CST-aligned hours to support collaboration with US-based teams
- Comfortable working in an AI-first environment and contributing to automation and operational improvement initiatives
