Position: People Manager - Delivery Services

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced People Manager with a strong foundation in IT Services Delivery and support. The ideal candidate has transitioned from a Delivery role, bringing deep operational insight, client-facing expertise, and a track record of managing end-to-end software delivery lifecycles. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on management of teams across QA and IT services, ensuring high performance, strong governance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including QA engineers, Data engineers, support teams, and delivery professionals.
- Build a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and growth planning.
- Resolve interpersonal and performance issues to maintain team harmony and effectiveness.
Transition from Delivery to People Management:
- Leverage delivery experience to align team objectives with business goals.
- Apply delivery insights to optimize team efficiency, resource planning, and execution.
- Bridge the gap between project execution and operational stability by fostering collaboration across departments.
IT Services & Operations Oversight:
- Manage and monitor IT service delivery performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure service quality and defect-free releases.
Process and Performance Optimization:
- Drive process improvements using metrics and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL/ISO/SOC standards in service operations.
- Establish strong governance frameworks for delivery, testing, and support processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in IT services, including 5+ years in Delivery roles and 3+ years in people management.
- Strong QA and Data support background with experience in test management, automation tools, and quality metrics.
- Proven experience in managing geographically distributed teams.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Proficient in delivery management tools, QA tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium), Data Engineering tool
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL Foundation or Intermediate
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe)
