Overview Of The Role

We are at an exciting stage of the People analytics evolution within Flutter. As we advance both our product base and capabilities there is increasing need to ensure we maintain our regulatory portfolio, existing reporting & dashboard products, and provide excellence in terms of building new products for our customers. As such this new role will be responsible ensuring all our large scale project needs are met with the correct controls, ensuring our products are built to standard and maintained, and new work coming into the team is triaged and actioned as appropriate. This role will manage 2 colleagues in the technical Workday/Tableau resource and ensure delivery and evolution for our core product offering to meet the continued needs of the business. It will interface with our broader Senior Leadership team in Global People Analytics and other teams win the group such as HR Operations, Security and HR Tech as required.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the right controls and management are in place across our people reporting portfolio:

  • Keeping abreast of upcoming changes to Group Policy/external regulations.
  • Maintain standards for all Workday & Tableau reporting and dashboards
  • Create and maintain details plans for project lifecycle development
  • Manage large scale projects to deliver People Analytics solutions to time, quality, and compliance standards
  • Triage new work coming into the team, estimate effort to complete and plan and manage team workloads
  • Perform technology research and adoption to evolve and mature core products and services

Manage a team of technical specialists both operationally day to day, but also supporting their future career paths and ambitions.

  • Play a critical role in ensuring how we manage work demand and delivery is planful and coordinated across our technical team members.
  • Build strong career and succession plans which align to our diversity and inclusion goals.

Play a key role in connecting to critical teams to ensure we do not operate in isolation:

  • Manage the delivery of the global People Analytics reporting framework for standard and custom reports, for business and HR stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of both the Workday Reporting and Tableau solutions, working closely with the Product Owner to ensure they are set-up, implemented, and utilised most effectively

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

  • Keen to work in an agile way to develop the growing and changing needs of the business.
  • Minimum 3 years extensive experience of delivering a Global People Reporting solution within HR (preferably Workday/Tableau) and maintaining those solutions.
  • Minimum 2 years Subject Matter expertise: have a deep knowledge of IT / People Analytics/Regulatory reporting, allowing you to be recognised as an expert within the business.
  • Initiative and pro-activity: take effective and informed decisions using own initiative and based upon a sound understanding of the business issues and challenges of the business.
  • Clear and appropriate communication for employees at all levels with the ability to discuss technical subjects with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Minimum 2 years experience of leading/coaching a team of technical SME's and building strong career pipelines/succession planning.
  • Demonstrated a minimum of 3 years recent experience partnering with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and needs.
  • Possessing strong commercial awareness and able to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • Recent experience of Python and Tableau and minimum 3 years hands-on exposure to these technology solutions
