Position Summary:

The People Advisor plays a pivotal role in advancing Maersk's People Strategy by providing top-notch administrative and operational support to the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass the seamless implementation of essential HR processes within your specific functional domain. Additionally, you will serve as a key advocate for the company culture, striving to foster a positive and enriching experience for all employees throughout their lifecycle at Maersk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Support People Partners in managing all processes of the Employee Lifecycle, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations, compliance, reporting, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, and employee relations as needed.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Support the Employee Relations (ER) team in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations while upholding best practices for sustained compliance.
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, performance management, leave policies, payroll, HR applications, and other aspects related to the employee lifecycle, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Off-Roll Employee Recruitment: Manage off-roll employee recruitment, including coordinating effectively with vendors and hiring managers to ensure a smooth process.
  • Employee Engagement: Collaborate and support a range of employee engagement activities with various stakeholders to boost retention and engagement levels across the organization.
  • HR Portal & Self-Service Promotion:Encourage the utilization of the employee HR Portal by offering clear guidance on HR knowledge content, such as global and local HR policies, procedural instructions, and more.
  • Guide employees and managers in effectively using self-service functionalities in Workday and other HR systems to facilitate technology adoption and empower users.
  • HR Communication & Data Management:Cascade relevant HR communication to the teams and/or offices in a timely and understandable manner.
  • Execute transactions in Workday and other HR applications meticulously to ensure the maintenance of high-quality and accurate data.
  • Complex Query Resolution & Process Improvement:Collaborate with People Partners and functional specialists to efficiently solve complex HR queries.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing HR processes by actively contributing to streamlining and standardizing them for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
