Pega Lead System Architect (LSA)

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to lead the design and architecture of high-quality, scalable, and robust Pega-based solutions. You will be responsible for owning the enterprise class structure, delivering end-to-end implementations, and providing technical leadership to development teams. This role requires a strong foundation in Pega PRPC, expertise in Web Services architecture, and a proven track record in application performance optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of complex Pega applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Own and maintain the Enterprise Class Structure and overall application design architecture.
• Deliver one or more end-to-end implementations on Pega 7.x or higher.
• Conduct high-level and detailed design reviews, ensuring compliance with standards and business objectives.
• Prepare and own High-Level Design Documents (HLDs) and gather non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical estimations and inputs for project planning, sequencing, and risk management.
• Guide development teams through best practices in design, coding, and application performance optimization.
• Formulate and disseminate best practices, design patterns, and coding standards across teams.
• Drive and monitor integration design using PRPC, including REST/SOAP Web Services and other middleware tools.
• Perform code reviews and design validation with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor and support team members, enabling their growth and adherence to project goals.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders for project delivery and governance.

Skills Required:

• LSA Certification (all modules completed) or experience in a Pega Architect role.
• Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC, frameworks, rules, and decision strategies.
• Deep understanding of Web Services Architecture, including XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, and MQ series.
• Experience in integration design and implementation with external systems.
• Proven track record in application performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong experience with estimation techniques and project planning support.
• Excellent communication and team mentoring skills.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise applications is a plus.
• Passion for continuous improvement and technology excellence.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
