We are seeking an experienced Lead Pega Software Engineer to join our client's growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale Pega applications, with proven leadership capabilities in driving development teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
This role is suitable for a highly motivated professional who possesses both technical expertise and architectural knowledge within the Pega ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Pega-based solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Ensure adherence to Pega best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and support performance optimization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to strategic technology decisions.
- Support project planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and high-quality releases.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on Pega development experience.

- Pega Rules and Workflows
- Performance Tuning and Application Security
- Experience leading development teams in enterprise-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Mandatory Certifications
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA/LSA)
- LSA Part 1 and Part 2 must be completed successfully
- Candidates without completed LSA Part 1 & Part 2 certification will not be considered.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be based in India or willing to relocate.
- Strong preference for candidates located in Hyderabad or Bangalore
- Must be available to join within 30 days notice period.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
- Proven experience working on large-scale digital transformation or enterprise application projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications, or Healthcare domains.
- Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in global or distributed teams.
