Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies for Pega applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business processes.
- Perform hands-on execution of manual and automated tests, ensuring compliance with Pega guardrails and best practices.
- Lead automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Pega Unit Testing, or other relevant frameworks.
- Drive integration testing across multiple upstream and downstream systems.
- Identify, log, and track defects; work with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
- Provide technical guidance to junior testers and foster a culture of quality.
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and reporting of testing metrics to stakeholders.
- Support UAT, production validation, and post-deployment verification.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PEGA E2E Testing Senior Engineer to lead end-to-end testing efforts for Pega applications. The role involves planning, designing, and executing test strategies to ensure Pega solutions meet business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Pega testing, automation frameworks, and integration testing, with the ability to guide junior testers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of software testing experience, with at least 3+ years in Pega E2E testing.
- Strong understanding of Pega PRPC applications, workflows, and case management.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PegaUnit, JUnit, Cucumber, TestNG).
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and validating backend data.
- Solid knowledge of API testing (REST/SOAP) and system integrations.
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, qTest, or similar).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Pega Certified Business Architect (CBA) or Pega CSA certification.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, or Telecom domains.
- Pega CSSA and Pega Decision Lead certifications a must (CDH).
