Role Overview
As a Pega Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Pega-based solutions. Depending on your experience level, you will either support delivery while developing your skills or lead complex initiatives and drive architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Across All Levels
- Develop and configure Pega applications aligned with business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
- Support integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP services
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Additional Responsibilities (Senior Level)
- Design scalable, high-performance Pega solutions and drive architectural decisions
- Lead Agile development cycles, including sprint planning and delivery oversight
- Ensure best practices in Pega implementation and governance
- Manage complex system integrations (APIs, microservices, REST/SOAP)
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine complex business requirements
Requirements
Associate Level
- 1–3 years of experience in Pega development or relevant certification/training
- Basic understanding of Pega architecture, case management, and workflows
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow
Senior Level
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega development
- Strong expertise in Pega architecture, design patterns, and frameworks
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions in Agile environments
- Advanced knowledge of integrations (REST/SOAP, APIs, microservices)
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and mentoring capabilities
