Role: Pega Business Analyst (PCBA)
Location: Bangalore
Join a leading consultancy firm delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on working on Pega-based solutions for enterprise clients across diverse industries. You will work on high-impact projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end Pega implementation and upgrade projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders, SMEs, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable Pega-based solutions.
- Develop core Pega business architecture deliverables such as process models, use cases, business rules, and functional requirements.
- Facilitate and lead design workshops ensuring alignment with business goals while maximizing out-of-the-box (OOTB) Pega capabilities.
- Serve as a steward for solution scope, preventing scope creep and unnecessary customization.
- Build Blueprints aligned with end-to-end business processes and case lifecycle design.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and Pega development teams, ensuring traceability and quality throughout delivery.
- Drive process optimization using Pega's decisioning, automation, and case management features.
- Mentor junior analysts and architects on Pega methodologies and best practices.
- Support integration with automation, AI, and data platforms within broader enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Contribute to solution proposals and demonstrations as part of pre-sales or business development initiatives.
- Design, plan, and execute test cases (functional, regression, integration, UAT) aligned to Pega guardrails and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as PTAK or Selenium.
- Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Support CI/CD pipelines with robust testing integration.
- Document test results, defects, and quality metrics with strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Prior consulting or industry background preferred (banking, insurance, healthcare).
- Solid hands-on experience with enterprise Pega applications, including case design, data models, workflows, and business rules.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with deployment of Pega applications.
- Knowledge of test automation tools (PTAK, Selenium, Postman, JUnit) and working knowledge of SQL/APIs.
- Ability to design reusable, modular test cases aligned with end-to-end business processes.
- Immediately available or short notice is highly preferred.

Certifications (MUST)
- Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) or
