Job Description
A Pega Business Analyst (or Pega Business Architect) bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, defining requirements and configuring applications within the Pega BPM platform. They translate business needs into user stories, design workflows, and utilize DCO (Direct Capture of Objectives) to build prototype applications.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Conduct DCO sessions, analyze business processes, and document requirements as user stories and functional specifications.
Process Mapping: Define case lifecycle steps, user interfaces, and business rules within Pega.
Stakeholder Management: Work with business leaders to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and validate solutions.
Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, review).
Testing Support: Support Quality Assurance (QA) teams, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate that requirements meet business goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
Pega Experience: Experience with Pega BPM, Case Management, and App Studio/Dev Studio.
DCO Knowledge: Proven ability to use Pega's Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) to map requirements.
Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical workflows, data flows, and build low-code prototypes.
Analysis Tools: Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Jira), modeling tools (MS Visio), and documentation.
Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise between business users and developers
