Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough examinations on new-borns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
2. Diagnose and treat paediatric conditions, illnesses and injuries.
3. Administer vaccinations and recommend preventative care.
4. Discuss treatment options and procedures directly with caregivers.
5. Monitor and manage the health and progress of paediatric patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
7. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
8. Assist in maintaining accurate patient records, including electronic health records.
9. Educate caregivers and family members on proper paediatric care including nutrition, immunizations, and preventive healthcare measures. and at-home treatment.
10. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
11. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in paediatric medicine and implement evidence-based practices in daily clinical activities.
