Job Title: Pediatric Intensivist (PICU Consultant)
Location: Purani Haveli, Hyderabad
Department: Pediatrics – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill neonates, infants, children, and adolescents admitted to the PICU.
- Diagnose and treat complex pediatric medical emergencies.
- Perform and supervise advanced pediatric critical care procedures.
- Manage patients requiring invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Interpret arterial blood gases, imaging, and laboratory investigations.
- Lead emergency resuscitation and code blue responses.
- Coordinate with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams.
- Ensure evidence-based clinical management and infection control practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records and participate in clinical audits.
- Mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
- Participate in ICU rounds, departmental meetings, and academic activities.
Qualification
- MBBS
- MD / DNB Pediatrics (Mandatory)
- DM Pediatric Critical Care or Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care (Preferred)
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Experience in managing ventilated and critically ill pediatric patients is preferred.
- Fresh DM/Fellowship graduates with strong clinical exposure may also be considered.
