PEB design engineer 5+ years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
a) To study & validate QRFS & PIFs along with proposal drawings, contract documents &customer drawings. If any document has ambiguity in the information then same is to be raised to the Engineering Team leader for clarification in writing with Sales/Marketing office.
b) To design the buildings assigned to him using the Comapny Design Standards, design codes & software tools assigned to him.
c) To design all building components (Primary, secondary including its connection, roofing and cladding, accessories & building services) satisfying the stability, serviceability and strength requirements simultaneously under the design loads & load combinations
d) To optimize the design by utilizing the techniques in order to achieve most economical & an adequate design
e) To control the design weight within the estimated weight. In case steel weight increase beyond the estimated weight, report to the Engineering Team leader & get assistance for weight control by considering experts ideas
f) To plan to finish his work according to the schedules and deadlines assigned and gives early warnings to Engineering Team leader in case of anticipated delays.
g) To alerts Engineering Team leader in case special design requirements and non- standard building configuration.
i) To prepare clear design sketches for the preparation of approval drawings
j) To prepare design calculation for the approval of customer
k) To give clear written instruction to the drafting personal in order to make sure that designs are clearly understood.
k) To review approval and erection drawings to make sure that design is clearly represented in these drawings and gives final approval on them
m) To cross check other engineers work if checking is assigned to him
n) To participate in design meetings with Customer for the approval process
o) To participate in design meetings with projects and explain design to the site engineer
p) To participate in in-house design meetings and suggest Improvement in design practices.
q) To ensure the compliance with departmental and company common procedure for QMS for the design.
r) To coordinate within the department and other concerned departments as per the departmental procedure.
s) To ensure complete ISO format are updated and filed.
