About this Position To support the product development process by conducting product trials, preparing prototypes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely development of products that meet quality, performance, and customer requirements. The role involves assisting in testing, documentation, and process optimization to facilitate successful product commercialization.
What You´ll Do
- Perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using standard analytical techniques.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC-TD-MS, DSC, GPC, TGA, Rheometer, TMA, DMA, KF, Wet chemistry titrations, UV, FTIR and other relevant equipment.
- Prepare reagents, standards, and samples according to SOPs and test methods.
- Record and maintain accurate test data in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety guidelines, and company quality standards.
- Assist in calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Support troubleshooting of analytical methods and participate in method validation activities.
- Maintain inventory of chemicals, consumables, and laboratory supplies.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams
- Safety & Compliance: Perform all laboratory work safely, adhering to regulations of safety, health and environment, PPE requirements and 5S processes.
- Support compliance and requirements for audit purpose - ISO, customer specific audits, etc
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's or Master degree in Chemistry, Analytical chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Analytical lab or experience in adhesives lab preferred
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC-TD-MS, GPC, TMA, DMA etc.).
- Expertise in GC-MS data interpretation and Wet chemistry will be preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently with strong initiative and minimal supervision.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in cross-cultural and cross-functional global teams engaging with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and practices.
